Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-10-22

TinyGymGuide (the "Site") is published by Charland & Co., a sole proprietorship in Quebec, Canada ("we", "us"). These Terms apply to your use of the Site. By using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. General information only; not medical or professional advice

Everything on the Site is general information about home gym space and equipment. It is not medical, health, fitness-training, engineering or legal advice. Talk to a doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, injury or are pregnant. Stop exercising and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

Adults only. The Site is intended for people 18 and older.

Exercise and equipment risk. Exercise and home gym equipment carry a risk of injury. Follow each manufacturer's assembly, weight-limit and use instructions, use spotters or safety arms where appropriate, and anchor tall racks and storage to prevent tip-overs (see CPSC "Anchor It"). You are responsible for how you use equipment.

2. Calculators and estimates

Our space, ceiling and floor-load calculators give rough estimates from the numbers you enter. The floor-load check is a simplified uniform-load comparison and is not a structural assessment. Before installing heavy equipment, racks or platforms, or putting a gym on an upper floor, balcony or older floor, consult a qualified structural engineer or contractor. Results may be wrong. Check against manufacturer specs and add a safety margin.

3. Product information and prices

Product specifications come from manufacturers and retailers and may change or contain errors. Prices and availability shown are as of the date and time stated and may change. The retailer's price and terms at the time of purchase apply. We do not sell products; any purchase is between you and the retailer.

4. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the Site and its content and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or use, arising from your use of the Site. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for bodily or moral injury, for intentional or gross fault, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer protection laws of your place of residence.

6. Affiliate links and third-party sites

The Site contains links, including affiliate links, to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, services, or privacy practices. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's original text, graphics and tools are owned by Charland & Co. or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or scrape the Site's content, including to train artificial intelligence models, without our written permission. 9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your place of residence, the courts of the judicial district where Charland & Co. has its place of business have jurisdiction.

10. Changes
